Why is that the travel band from all over Europe countries, United States of America, Australia and other part of Asian Countries did not exclude Davao City and Island Garden City of Samal from the Travel band that their respective embassies issued where in-fact Davao City and Island Garden City of Samal are the safest cities for tourist and travelers.
Other thing that called to my attention, when i read an article from the leading newspaper in the Philippines, who covers the tourism fair/exhibit of Department of Tourism held in Japan. I was so depressed when the Secretary of Tourism – Sec. Ace Durano hosted the press conference in a five deluxe hotel in Japan, when he was asked by media from all over the world of what he could offer for the tourist in the Philippines, he answered the question very unfair to the tourism industry in Davao. He only mentioned the island of Boracay, Palawan, and Cebu a very distressful answer. Why is it that the Department of Tourism hesitant to promote Davao City and the Island Garden City of Samal as one of the best tourist destination in the Philippines?
Thus, I am begging to all embassies who issued a travel band in Mindanao to please exclude the Davao City and Island Garden City of Samal, since these two cities are safe for foreign tourist and visitors who would love to discover the beauty of Island Garden City of Samal, its continuous pristine coastline beaches and the warm hospitality people in the island.
